CERAMIC COMPOSITES, INC.
A subsidiary of Technology Assessment & Transfer, Inc.
TA&T's subsidiary, Ceramic Composites, Inc. (CCI) specializes in the development and application of Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMCs) for Aerospace and Industrial applications. Buoyed by R&D funding from government agencies, CCI has developed unique processes and composite material systems for hostile environmental applications approaching 5000 °F. Government funded R&D projects, coupled with IR&D activities has enabled CCI to develop high temperature, oxidation resistance fiber debond coatings for non-oxide matrix CMCs, low matrix densification techniques and ultra-refractory graded matrix composites, strength enhanced carbon foams and a large variety of refractory ceramic and metallic CVD coatings. The Table below lists some of the CMC product applications based on these unique CCI developments. Details on Structurally Enhanced Carbon Foam and CVD coatings are available by clicking on the photos.
